Choosing a top pick
For each category we gather the main suppliers and weigh them against those criteria, leaning hardest on durability and fit for service. Our pick is the one we would point a typical independent venue to first. We list alternatives for context and favour suppliers that specialize in the category over general catalogues.
Independence
No supplier pays for a ranking. Some outbound links may be affiliate or sponsored, and where that is true the link is marked. It never changes the order. If a product slips or a better one appears, the page gets updated.
Staying current
Ranges and suppliers shift over time, so we revisit each category and revise picks when the market moves, keeping the guidance useful rather than frozen.
